If you live at the Villages at Huntington, you should have received an important email blast on January 3, 2017. Below is the content of that email:

We have been so pleased with the enthusiastic reception we have had with our past few social events.

Our Strength Training classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9am, taught by Mara Haber, are attended by a group of residents who are getting stronger, feeling healthier and looking better.

We thank Mara for her hard work and efforts to get us into shape.

Feel free to join us when you can.

Paint Night was a huge success, with an overflow response. Never knew we had so many artists living here; may have to do it again.

Pre-Holiday Luncheon at Colonial Springs Golf Course was a big hit, with delicious food and lots to talk about, more luncheons to follow. (Restaurant suggestions welcome)

We want to keep the enthusiasm rolling and want to know what you want to do. Your feedback, suggestions and/or volunteering for a function will certainly help.

Please let us know if you are interested in any (or all) of the following that have been previously suggested:

  • Monthly book club
  • Weekly card game or Mah Jong game (a volunteer to teach for those interested in getting started?)
  • Terrarium making class
  • Card night for men
  • other

We really do want your feedback.

What would you like to see offered to residents of our community? We look forward to hearing from everyone.

Please contact Pat Jurik [email protected] or Marie Brooks [email protected] with your thoughts, suggestions, ideas for ongoing or one-time events.

Here’s to a great, fun-filled New Year.
