If you live at the Villages at Huntington, you should have received an important email blast on Thursday, November 16, 2017. Below is the content of that email:
Last week it was reported to the Board that representatives from Verizon were soliciting in our community. There are signs in the community that state, “No trespassing allowed / violators will be prosecuted.” Solicitors are trespassers.Last year a similar situation occurred. Two men stating they were representing Verizon were ringing resident’s bells or approaching them in the street. They were informed that they were trespassing and the police would be called if they did not leave. They did not leave right away but were later seen jumping over one of our perimeter fences to exit the community.Residents please be advised….based on the above…if you are ever approached by any solicitors tell them that if they do not leave immediately the police will be called. We were advised by the police to take this action.Thank you for your attention to this matter.
