If you live at The Villages at Huntington, you should have received an important email blast on Tuesday, March 6, 2018. Below is the content of that email:

IMPORTANT SNOW MESSAGE

IMPORTANT REMINDER: When snow is in the forecast, there is absolutely no parking allowed on any streets in the community. Street parking prevents the snow plows from doing their job. Parking is available in the Pool Parking Lot and on Wendell Court. Residents who do not move their cars will be fined in keeping with By-Laws.  A homeowner is fully responsible for any damage from a snow plow to vehicle left parked on street during snow events. Also, all basketball hoops must be moved from the curb strip, so as not to impede snow plow from doing its job. Overhang of hoop can block the plow. Excess snow is moved to grassy strip at curb and this cannot be done if hoops are there.
It is necessary, even if inconvenient, for all of us to cooperate so that our vendor is able to properly/adequately/safely clear snow in our community for safetyand road access. We expect our vendor to do the best job possible. We do inform vendors of residents’ complaints regarding snow removal. Let’s help them do their job by doing our job. All double driveways of townhouses with one vehicle parked on it will be plowed on the vacant side, as long as the parked vehicle is positioned as far to the side of the driveway’s edge as possible. For the private houses, the vehicle should be parked on the side that is next to the entrance walkway of the house and positioned as far over to that side as possible. The more room one can gives to the skid steer, the better it will be able to clear the snow, and avoid damaging the parked vehicle. If the skid steer driver cannot safely remove the snow due to the position of a vehicle on a double driveway, it will be skipped. Any vehicle, or vehicles parked in a double driveway will  have the snow cleared within two feet of the back bumper.
Additionally, at the end of the snow event we request that all residents that park in the pool parking lot and the additional parking down by Wendell Court, remove their vehicles after their streets have been cleared of snow, so that Fiorini can come back and plow these areas (typically 24 hours later).
