If you live at The Villages at Huntington, you should have received an important email blast on Friday, March 16, 2018. Below is the content of that email:

To All Residents,

Our new security company, U. S. Security, will be starting this Monday, March 19^th at 8 a.m. Please understand that when you change any vendor there is a period of adjustment so I ask for your  patience in this transition.

While the response rate for the submission of Profile Sheets/car registrations has been positive, there are over 40 residents who have not submitted their Profile Sheets/car registrations, and a similar number with incomplete Profiles. Residents have received numerous reminders both via US mail and email since February regarding the requirements included in submitting the new Profiles including the transmitter codes. Some residents have communicated that they cannot read the numbers on the transmitters (Clicker). The numbers are also printed on the inside of the device which can be easily opened.

Please be advised that as of Monday, March 19^th we will be forced to deactivate transmitters (clickers) of all residents that have not submitted their completed Profile Sheets. There will be no follow up personal contact with these residents. This is the final notification. If your transmitters are not working, you will need to enter the community as any other visitor through the Old Country Road entrance, and show your driver’s license to the guard as proof of residence to gain access to the community. Please be prepared to do this, so as not to tie up traffic at the booth. The guards will be instructed and prepared for this situation.

Since there will be a number of vehicles whose transmitters will no longer allow them access to the community (for the reasons stated above), please leave a little extra room between yourself and the vehicle in front of you when entering the community through the resident lane.  This will provide the ability for those denied access to properly maneuver their vehicles out of the way.  As a reminder, no one should ever click in another vehicle other than their own.

We thank the residents who have complied with our request to submit their Profile Sheet and car registration in a timely matter. We encourage those who have not submitted Profiles, or have received correspondence that their profiles are missing information to send in the required information as soon as possible.
