If you live at The Villages at Huntington, you should have received an important email blast on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Below is the content of that email:

UPDATES ON US SECURITY
U S Security has advised us that over the next several weeks they will be contacting residents to introduce themselves as well as confirm information on the Profiles – in particular the phone number call preference order. We know many people screen their calls, so if you see a number from Jay Denbin (516) 361-1366 this is a valid call from our service provider. The existing security booth number is (631) 673-1398 and is still in use.
Also at this time, just to clarify a previous communication, residentsĀ  entering through the visitor lane should either show a driver’s license to confirm their identity, or provide their password to the guard. Since the password is sensitive information, it should not be given verbally if others are in the car. The guard can provide a piece of paper for you to write it on or you can type it on your smartphone and show it to them. This will prevent others from learning your passcode. Please be prepared when doing the above, it will expedite your entrance into the community avoiding a back-up of waiting vehicles.
Thank you.
