If you live at the Villages West, you should have received an important email blast on Friday, June 9, 2017. Below is the content of that email:

As the weather continues to get nicer, we feel it necessary to remind dog owners of rules to avoid being fined:

“Unless you are using your own property to ‘walk’ your pet, all pets must be on leash and curbed. The person walking the pet must pick up all droppings immediately upon completion by the pet, using a pooper scooper, plastic bag, etc. Pets CANNOT be brought to the common areas for the express purpose of ‘doing their business’. Common areas include the grass areas between the sidewalks and curbs.”

** In addition, the basketball and tennis courts are not to be used as dog runs (or skateboard, bike or scooter areas).
