Through our affiliation with Sweet Hollow, an invitation from the BAPS group (the same group who agreed to swap land so the community could have a park on Old Country and Round Swamp Roads) has graciously extended an invitation to join together in unity in a Prayer for Peace event in light of the recent tragedy at the school in Florida.Dear Sweet Hollow Neighbors,This invitation was sent to me from Girish Patel of the BAPS.I humbly request you to please join us for a special prayer meeting to honor the victims and their families of the recent tragic shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. It is a day that you pray every day when you get up that you will never have to see. With God’s help, we can remain strong and resolute to resist evil in all its manifestations. May God heal the broken hearted and comfort the sorrowing as we once again face as a nation another act of senseless violence and horrifying evil. We must come together as a community to support one another in this time of grief. So, let us join hands together for a special Prayers for Peace , with many supporting organizations and individuals.Date : Sunday, March 25th, 2018Venue : BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir2 Deshon DriveMelville, NY 11747Time : 1 PM to 2 PM followed with refreshments.Note: Please arrive 15 minutes early to be seated.I sincerely hope you will take time and join us for this important community event.
